About Me
I am a strengths-based therapist based in Brooklyn, New York. I began my career working as a social worker at a New York City high school and honed my therapy practice at the largest city hospital system in the country. As a hospital social worker, I worked with expecting mothers and families as they navigated a new phase in their lives. I specialize in treating anxiety and depression, particularly during big life transitions and challenges.
Rooted in social work values, my practice acknowledges that our mental wellbeing is interwoven with the realities of our lives. I work with my clients to navigate barriers and empower them to live their most authentic lives. I also integrate art into my therapeutic practice to encourage creativity and self-expression as a core component of healing and recovery.
I received my Masters in Social Work (MSW) from New York University Silver School of Social Work and am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of New York.
My ApproachI am guided by the belief that my clients are the experts in their lives. Whatever you may be struggling with or what is keeping you up at night, we will tackle it together with empathy, compassion, and curiosity.

In this brief consultation, we’ll discuss what you’re hoping to get out of therapy. We’ll talk about the challenges you’re facing in your life and how therapy can help. Think of this as a “get-to-know-you” session, where we can decide if we’re a good fit to work together.

During these talk therapy sessions, we will discuss your challenges and establish your goals. Whether you are struggling with a life change, grieving a loss, or feel like something is missing in your life, we will tackle it together with empathy, curiosity, and compassion. To help you get the most out of therapy, these sessions are typically weekly.

Trying talk therapy for the first time can be daunting. If this is your first time working with a therapist, these sessions are designed to ease you comfortably into the process. We will explore how therapy can help you meet your goals. To help get you started, sessions will be on a weekly basis.
